Simpson Associates
Our Mission
“Getting It Done Right.”

This statement defines the guiding principle and a commitment to quality work that is the mark of all our efforts and services.

"Getting It Done Right" could likely, and probably does, mean quite a number of different things to different people.  For us, here at Simpson Associates, it is a theme which is rich, both in meaning and approach, one that we have built with great care and consideration over the last quarter century.  The following are the basic fundamentals which define and, we believe, are paramount to "Getting It Done Right".

Independence vs. Dependence

One of the core fundamentals one must consider when building a consulting firm relates to the concept of helping your clients become more independent of you or more dependent on you.  At Simpson Associates, we like to think of ourselves as teachers, constantly striving to help customers learn the basic foundations of assessment, evaluation and interviewing.  As unusual as this might sound, this life-long learning philosophy is totatlly consistent with our mandate of helping you move towards functioning, with a high level of expertise, entirely on your own.

We help you build your independence in a number of ways.  First, there is considerable time spent coaching during our assessment feedback sessions with customers.  As well, for those who can work it into their schedule, our firm offers, free of charge, weekly assessment and interviewing workshops to all those who are interested.  It's all part of "Getting It Done Right".

Our Clients

In effectively optimizing our contribution, and consistent with our "small is better" philosophy, "Getting It Done Right" requires that we do not attempt to be "all things to all people".  To this end, our first contact is generally limited to selected CEO's, presidents and owners which are experiencing significant changes and ambiguity in their companies, whether through growth or negative market forces.  Additionally, and as a general rule, we do not accept competitors in our client base.
